The Cross Nations Youth Manifesto is a youth-led initiative developed through the Cross Nations Partnership, bringing together young people aged 18-24 from England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
Supported by the Shared Island Civic Society Fund, the project was delivered in partnership with Youth Action Northern Ireland, UK Youth, Youth Scotland, Youth Cymru and partner organisations across these islands.

Cross Nations Youth Forum members together by the lake

Inspired by the principles of the Good Friday Agreement and a shared commitment to equality, inclusion, and positive community relations, the Cross Nations Youth Forum (CNYF) was created to ensure young people’s voices are heard and valued across national borders.

Over the course of a year, young people met online, attended a residential in Carlingford, and consulted with more than 60 of their peers to identify the issues that matter most to their generation.

This manifesto is the result of those conversations. It reflects the experiences, concerns, and aspirations of young people and presents a shared vision for a more inclusive, sustainable, and equitable future.
