The level 4 Certificate in Youth Studies provides training at 'pre professional' level for people who are working in community youth work settings but who do not hold a professional qualification.
Course Content
3 x 20 Credit Modules in:
- Perspectives on Young People
- The Reflective Practitioner
- Working with Young People
Course Delivery
- Delivered in YouthAction
- 1 Day per week for Academic Year
- September 2026- May 2027
- This course is delivered in Belfast
Entry Criteria
Applicants must have
- 1 years leadership experience in a youth work setting
- Have a relevant youth work qualification at Level 2
- Hold GCSE English Grade C or above or Level 2 equivalent
- Be working/volunteering for 8-12 hours per week
