The Camino Challenge

Join YouthAction and friends as we embark on an unforgettable adventure along the Camino de Santiago, where every step helps support our mission to empower young people to lead the way to a brighter future.

In September 2026, we’ll be lacing up our boots for an exciting charity walk that combines challenge, culture and connection and we’d love you join us!

A Journey Like No Other

This isn’t just a walk, it’s a journey of purpose, discovery and impact. You’ll join a group of like-minded adventurers as we follow in the footsteps of countless pilgrims who have walked the Camino for centuries, soaking in breathtaking views, vibrant villages and a deep sense of shared achievement.

Along the way, you’ll pass historic churches, ancient stone bridges and charming Spanish towns, all whilst raising vital funds to support YouthAction NI’s life-changing work with young people across Northern Ireland.

Why Take Part?

By joining Team YouthAction NI, you’ll be doing more than taking on a personal challenge you’ll be helping create real opportunities for young people to thrive. Your support will help us provide:

  • Safe and inclusive spaces where young people can connect and build confidence
  • Health and wellbeing programmes that strengthen resilience and self-esteem
  • Creative and leadership initiatives that amplify young voices in their communities

Every step you take will help a young person take one closer to a brighter, more equal future.

What to Expect

You don’t have to be an experienced walker to take part, just determined, open-minded, and ready for an experience that will stay with you for a lifetime.
