Organise a Festive Fundraiser

This festive season, bring your community together and help give young people across Northern Ireland a brighter future!

Whether you’re a workplace, school, youth group, or community organisation, a festive fundraiser is a fun and meaningful way to spread joy while raising vital funds to support YouthAction NI’s work with young people.

We’ve made it easy for everyone to get involved. Simply choose one (or more!) of our three festive fundraising challenges:

1. Christmas Jumper Day

Pull on your brightest, silliest, or sparkliest Christmas jumper and help raise funds to support young people across Northern Ireland.

It’s simple: pick a day in December, encourage everyone to wear their favourite festive jumper, and donate to YouthAction NI. Whether you’re in an office, classroom, or community hall, it’s a fun, easy way to boost morale and make a difference.

Make it extra fun:

• Award prizes for the most creative or colourful jumper
• Host a mini Christmas quiz or coffee morning
• Take festive photos and share them using #YANIChristmasChallenge

 2. Christmas Bake Challenge

Get creative in the kitchen and turn your baking skills in to a force for good!

Host a bake sale, coffee morning, or cake competition with your colleagues, friends, or classmates. Every cupcake, brownie, or mince pies old will help fund programmes that empower young people to reach their potential.

Ideas to get started:

• Hold a Great Festive Bake Off with a judging panel
• Invite customers or clients to buy a treat for charity
• Share recipes and raise donations online

3. Christmas Raffle

Spread some festive excitement while raising vital funds through a Christmas raffle!

Collect donated prizes from staff, local businesses, or suppliers and sell raffle tickets throughout December. It’s a brilliant way to bring people together, reward your team, and support YouthAction NI at the same time.

• Extra holiday days or team experiences
• Handmade crafts or local products
