Gold Medal Mary Comes to the MAC

We are delighted to share that Gold Medal Mary, a powerful new play by Maire Campbell, is coming to the The MAC following a hugely successful run at the Rainbow Theatre.

Inspired by the extraordinary early life of Olympic gold medallist and national treasure Mary Peters, this moving and uplifting production brings Mary’s remarkable story to a large stage for the very first time.

With heart, humour and determination at its core, Gold Medal Mary explores themes of resilience, ambition and the drive to succeed against the odds. Audiences will journey through the challenges and triumphs that shaped a young girl into a sporting icon, in a story that continues to inspire generations.

We are incredibly excited to bring this inspiring show to a wider audience. Everyone is welcome and there will be a very special post-show Q&A, giving audiences the unique opportunity to hear directly from Lady Mary Peters herself.
