Overview
The Learning Resource Centre is located in College Square North and holds a range of books, magazines, DVD’s, toolkits, games and research as a variety of topics relating to young people and youth work.
The library holds over 4000 publications and is categorised into themes such as health, community relations, gender equality, rural youth work, the performing arts and many more.
This facility is a new service for members of YouthAction Northern Ireland to assist with improving the quality of youth work.
How do I get access to the Learning Resource Centre?
By becoming a member of YouthAction Northern Ireland you automatically become a member of the Learning Resource centre. Contact Shirley@youthaction.org to join YouthAction NI.
You can search for publications by using the SEARCH section of the LRC website. Key in a topic or relevant word and a list of available resources will be displayed.
By contacting the LRC Co ordinator, LRC@youthaction.org you can arrange to visit the library to borrow any resource for up to 3 weeks.
What facilities are available in the LRC?
The library has 5 computers with internet access for you or your group to use for independent study.
A TV/DVD is available to view DVDs from resource packs, before borrowing.
A photocopying service is available to members and a small fee, to copy any resources.
4000 publications are available on loan to members.
