GET SET for Work

GET SET for Work is our regional youth employability programme for young people aged 16 – 24 years who are outside of training employment and education. Operating across all of YouthAction NI’s regional bases GET SET works in partnership with business, communities and young people to develop their skills for living, learning and work so that they can progress into employment or into further education and training.

Our wide range of programmes include
  • GET SET for Construction
  • GET SET for Event Planning
  • GET SET for Touring Guiding
  • GET SET for Hospitality
  • GET SET for Fitness

Over the next 4 years our GET SET team will get 900 young people ready for work or further training/education.

GET SET is part financed by the European Social Fund and the Department for the Economy.

In 2018 we helped 200 young people to gain confidence, qualifications and skills. 96% of those who have completed have already progressed into employment or further training and education.
