Happily Never After

Happily Never After

'Happily Never After' is our innovative new play tackling domestic abuse head on! The play tells the story of domestic abuse through the eyes of young women. Often there's a perception that domestic abuse is an issue in adult relationships and within married couples, but this play highlights that this is becoming an ever growing problem in younger women's relationships and this needs to be addressed.
The play has been written, directed and will be performed by the 'Safe and Sound' young women's working group. The group consists of 11 young women aged 20 - 25 who are key advocatesof domestic abuse, having previously developed conferences for young women, developed their own resource on the issue and a short film. this play will be another valuable method of raising awareness and getting this key and important message to young women in our society. It's not to be missed!!
