College Square North

Background

College Square North

From 1971-2006 Hampton provided a safe environment for young people and adults from all backgrounds to work together during the darkest days of Northern Ireland’s history. It provided stability, facilitated creativity and innovation and sustained the organisations capacity to provide an excellent service for over 35 years.
Our new purpose built youth resource facility College Square North was opened in 2007, as a shared space for a shared future in the heart of Belfast. The organisation raised £3.5 million pounds to make our vision a reality for young people.

College Square North connects communities, young people and organisations to the city centre.  It provides a challenging venue to reach out to increasing numbers of young people and involve them in educational opportunities.
Young people, staff, volunteers and members of YouthAction Northern Ireland sincerely thank all the funders who so generously supported College Square North.

"Open The Doors!” Light of the day, shine in, light of the mind, shine out!"

We have a building which is more than a building.  There is a commerce between inner and outer, between brightness and shades, between the world and those who think about the world"....
